“So what about 11 AM here, noon for you, 4 PM for Julie?”

In the middle of June, that was the message that one of my good friends sent me.

For the past 8 weeks, I've been spending my summer break at work as an intern here at Tectonica, living more than 5000 miles away from my native Pennsylvania.  Similarly, my college friend group - the same friends that during the school year are never more than a 10 minute walk away from my room - has spread out throughout the world for this summer.  Instead of all being in quaint Princeton, New Jersey, we're divided between Colorado, Greece, Scotland, Argentina (me!), and the list goes on.
