Start by working out what you stand for and getting together a bunch of like minded people. Then work out your policies and start campaigning. You’ll need a lot of cash, so start getting wealthy supporters. Most major political parties have some cash heavy donors and you’ll need a bit to try & promote yourself to their level, as well as building up enough cash for the deposit. Then it depends what your aim is – local or national government? If local, field Councillors in as many wards as you can; if national, start with one constituency and get in the public spotlight. Everyone likes a party that sticks out. Remember in Ware Forest, the Kidder minster Health Concern party. He’s still there now!
