Tectonica Digital Campaign Solutions S.L, applies technologies and strategies to build and grow movements for political parties, candidates, and NGOs. Our services include Strategy, Web Design and Build, App Design and Build, Platform integration, Identity and Branding, Video Production, Email Strategy, Campaign Management, Content Creation, etc. We have worked with some of the most important political parties and organizations in more than 28 countries around the world. Primary Functions

Public Positioning (25%)

Position ourselves at the center of digital organising for progressive Europe digital organising and beyond.

  • Community Manager: oversee the sharing of relevant materials and activities on company social networks.
  • Manage sharing of related company and general resources and stories to promote the model of digital.  
  • Assist to increase the public profile of company leadership and their related networks  (ie. twitter, LinkedIn, etc).
  • Work with industry publications such as Campaigns & Elections to ensure voice and vision of Tectonica is represented.
  • Participate in activities that will promote Tectonica's overall values and vision for digital organising (ie. “organising over messaging”)
  • Research and categorise target contacts (ie. progressive political parties in the target area and associated contacts).
  • Regularly survey clients or potential client groups for educational, marketing, and network information.
  • Utilize NationBuilder and social listening tools to identify the best way to further develop networks and center Tectonica as experts in digital organising community.

Tectonica Organising Network (20%)

Develop an industry-based network of people working in the progressive digital space which can position Tectonica for ongoing contact (with partners and potential clients and projects within our target service areas).

  • Coordinate concept, content, creation, and target list segmentation of company regular email communications/newsletter.
  • Incentive offerings for list building for the network’s newsletter.
  • Recruitment and development for Tectonica Organising Network.
  • Carry vision for, update and advance Tectonica's marketing funnel to ensure increasing leads for the sales team.
  • Other duties towards the promotion and development of the Tectonica Organising Network.

Promote Tectonica's Work, Content Production and Distribution (15%)

Use our projects to center us as best practice work among digital organising.

  • Collaborative in the production of case studies featuring Tectonica's work.
  • Creating project postings external online portfolios, etc (Tectonica site, NB blueprints, etc.).
  • Writing and editing blog articles related to Tectonica's work, vision, and activities.
  • Oversee the concept, production, and creation of short digital organising videos in collaboration w/ video team, CEO and content specialist.
  • Creation of an Educational Center for clients and partners that provides curated and strategic listings of resources, services, etc.

Partnerships (15%)

Develop systems and strategic contacts to further the relationship between Tectonica and the community of organisations utilizing digital organising practices.

  • Work to develop stronger relationships with other progressive political software companies to place Tectonica as the key provider of its specific services.
  • Managing relationships with key community partners.
  • Develop higher level partnerships with the community of progressive tech services.
  • Work with NationBuilder, New/Mode, Action Network, etc. and other key partners to serve as a link to news and resources for the platforms.
  • Join and participate in online digital organising communities ensuring the optimal sharing of information and resources to enrich our work and that of the community.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of a "friends and families" list that updates close contacts about general advancement and activities happening at the company.

Training, Resources & Education (10%)

Organise and develop training and resources to better serve our community and clients with trainings, resources, and educational materials on digital organising.

  • Organise resource center which is accessible and useful to Tectonica retainer clients.
  • Nurture client slack environment to ensure clients are able to find the best resources for advancing their movement-building work.
  • Set Up Online training on pertinent topics with community partners.
  • Organize resources and provider solutions in a way that is highly curated and useful.
  • Moderating and supporting retainer clients in our slack client center with assistance accessing training and resource material.
  • Create and maintain training for Tectonica products and clients (ie online documentation/training for Win, Winning Women, etc.).

Conferences, Training Events, etc. (10%)

  • Coordinate local training, events, and small conferences
  • Assist with the logistics of speaking engagements, conferences and networking for the leadership team and other team members (in some cases may require attendance).
  • Researching, tracking and coordinating conferences, and speaking opportunities for Tectonica leadership.
  • Assist with the coordination and logistics of events we sponsor and participate in.
  • Identify areas for best leverage of company work (ie. most useful training, best ways to reach out to the networks).
  • Follow-ups from conference training with contacts to ensure maximum impact and relationship building.

Secondary Functions (5%)

  • Assist with setting up digital assessment/campaign audit
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience and Skills

  • Understanding and knowledge of digital organising as a practice and history working in digital or other political, campaigning or advocacy work.
  • Three to five years of professional work in digital organising, marketing, or training.
  • Proven success in technology/web.
  • Knowledge of marketing methodologies.
  • Proven writing abilities.
  • Experience managing social media accounts.
  • English/Spanish proficiency with preferred fluency. Must be able to understand spoken and written English.
  • Preferred experience in any political or organizational work.   
  • Highly organized.
  • Flexible, enthusiastic, self-starting, team player.
  • Passion for making an impact in the world through the intersection of technology and politics.

Education requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.

Languages

  • English: Fluent or native.
  • Spanish: preferred writing and speaking intermediate or advanced.
  • Others (it will be valued).
